Once had a cell phone go off while in the middle of a service some years ago in Killeen. The man was a visitor I had never seen before, and he actually took the call. I was not the most happy person in the world at the time….
Then…
After the service I found out that his son was a service man that had been killed in a helicopter crash on post after returning from war. The call was an important call that he really needed to take about the matter. He and his wife hadn’t been in worship anywhere for a long time, but felt that they needed to be some where in church that morning…..
Sometimes there is more to the story.
