I am a United Methodist pastor, proud dad of a 21year old daughter who is a student at McLennan Community College. I married the beautiful and gifted Rachel Giessen in February of 2007. Last month (May 2010) Eliza Megan my second daughter, our first, was born in Waco.
I consider myself a postmodern, possibly emergent Christian.
I currently serve the Chaplain of the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco. I am also the Conference Student Leadership Team Coordinator and one of two Jurisdictional Youth Coordinators for the South Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church.
I enjoy reading, watching movies and television, sports, photography, and great conversation. Oh, yeah, and coffee. And microbrews.
