Think about this

My old friend Scott McKay, in honor of his son turning 18, shared “my dozen things I wish I knew at eighteen in no particular order.”

What are yours?

I’m thinking of mine, and will share them soon.

  1. Here are my dozen:

    1. No one thinks about you nearly as much as you do.
    2. with all your uniqueness, you have a lot in common with a lot of people.
    3. 30 really isn’t all that old.
    4. Reading is worth it.
    5. Get to know people – especially the ones you label the fastest.
    6. Don’t believe one group’s definition of another.
    7. even though you don’t know as much as you think you do, don’t give up trying to learn more.
    8. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
    9. Listen to music regularly.
    10. Learn to listen to people with your heart and your head at the same time.
    11. Remember what it was like to be a child.
    12. Remember what it was like to be in junior high.
