Sick of where you live?

Maybe you are sick because you live there. Here’s an interesting piece about research showing greater health problems in poor neighborhoods. BECAUSE they are poor neighborhoods.

Theories as to why this is true:
     1.  Less availability of healthy food
     2.   Opportunities for physical activity/exercise are less or less secure
     3.  Less access to doctors and other health care services
     4.  Higher long-term stress from the environment that may alter the hormones that control weight.

I just thought you would want to know.
